Spine MRI (Cervical)

Description

Detailed cervical spine MRI for neck pain, arm symptoms or myelopathy. Assesses discs, nerve exits and spinal cord.

• Assesses: C2–T1 vertebrae, intervertebral discs, facet joints, neural foramina and the cervical cord.

• Useful for: neck pain/stiffness, cervical radiculopathy (arm pain/tingling), suspected disc herniation, spinal stenosis, spondylosis, whiplash follow-up, or pre/post-operative review.

• Contrast? Considered if infection, tumour, inflammatory disease or post-op scar vs recurrent disc is in question.
